Best online health insurance for family

We are total 3 member in my faimily including my wife aged 35 and daughter 12 yrs. I am 40 yrs old. I am looking for Best online health insurance as family floater with cover around 2-3 lacs. Kindly suggest me policy which is very good for tier II and III cities with minimum premium..

That was a sensible decision you took of securing yourself and your family with a family medical insurance. Just look into the following things before opting for a provider.

• Network of hospitals
• Claims settlement (is it in-house or third party as this will this will settle claims quickly if its in-house)
• Age criteria.
• Benefits covered under it.

Insurance is not about offers or the cheapest deal. Read the fine print and compare different policies both online and offline to arrive at the best solution.

In life insurance, some companies want you to lodge a claim within 15 days only, but LIC is quite liberal. Similarly for car insurance, some companies want theft FIR to be filed in 6hrs. National insurers may be slow but they will not disqualify claims on petty grounds.
