I am having one life insurance policy from Bajaj allainz since 2005. In year 2010, I have taken one Term Plan Kotak life but at the time of buying this term plan and even till date I have not informed them about my previous policy i.e. Bajaj allainz. What are the option available now for me? should I disclose it immediately and in that what will be the procedure should I adopt? plz. guide me.
How can I inform about my previous policy. Plz. help me.

just talk to the agent of kotak abt this, if u feel that u can take him into confidence.
btw why didnt u disclose while taking the new policy? any specific reason?
Usually companies give more wheightage to those policies that were taken by u in the same company....
for those poilicies that were taken from other companies, they are taken into consideration for:
-calculating whether u can pay all those premiums
-total risk on ur life
-any ulterior motive to over insure and thereby more risk to be assumed by them etc
If at all u want to inform them, u can simply write a letter quoting ur policy number giving the details of previous policies held by u here and elsewhere
