Documents required for term policy for NRI

Hi,

I am 33 years old and would like to take term policy in the range of 50l to 1 cr.
I am staying abroad and will be visiting india in the next month, thus i want to know what are the documents required to get the term policy.

regarding medical do i need to get it done in india with a specified doctor or any govt. doctor.

Any comments on the above issues would be highly appreciated
