Which companies have a good record of settling outstanding claims?
1 or 2 months extra is fine, but at least the insurer should settle the claim rather than raising hands/ asking for irrevlevant documents to prevent settlement.

Prticularly, if anyone has any idea about LIC, MNY, SBI, ICICI.

Friend, I am an agent for Star Insurance (health insurance). There was an article in Hindustan Times of March 28, 2011 on a customer survey conducted stating Star Insurance tops the chart for claim settlement.
