Jeevan Anand - Quiting

#1
I have Jeeven Anand policy and my premium is 25096 for every 3 months.
I have started the policy in Aug 2006 and paid 3 premimums till 21 st march 2007. After that i have not paid any premimuns since then.

so my question is will i be getting my money what i have paid or is there any other alternative option?

Please guide me

Hi,

Since you have discontinued paying qtly premiums, policy must have lapsed.

If we consider to surrender the policy or making it paid up, it requires three years of premium payment. Hence, Unforutnately that cannot be done in this case.

However, if there are no monetary issues, you can reinstate the policy by paying premium for the lapsed period and continue it.

You can also check with your insurance agent, if something can be done to convert it into single premium policy, but then even that requires one years premium, where you have paid for only three quarters.

Naidu there is a special kind of revival, I do not know full details but they shift the date of commencement of policy ,so don't have to pay the gap premiums.PLease contact your insurer.
