Another stride by Visesh Info. ( maiden entry of KPO business in UK )


UK KPO business alongwith USA KPO business .... Visesh Infotecnics Limited today announced that its US-based Joint Venture for Knowledge Process Outsourcing & BPO Services - "Cyberworks Visesh LLC", has been awarded a contract by UK-based SMH Marketing Ltd. for its BPO requirements. SMH Marketing is a distributor of UK-based GSM service providers including Orange, Three & T-mobile, with a revenue in excess of US$ 75 million. Known for driving aggressive marketing campaigns using a network of Call Centres, web-based technologies, e-commerce & SMS campaigns. The contract is for a three year period and is expected that this breakthrough will generate total revenues to the tune of GBP 5 million (Rupees 45 Crore approx.) for Visesh Infotecnics.



It may be recalled that Visesh had announced its KPO JV on the 8th of October, 2005 with Cyberworks Software Inc. (CSI) headquartered in Cleveland USA, a high-end IT contract consulting services Company catering to the specialized needs of several Fortune 1000 companies in America. The two Companies had agreed to work together, through a new Joint Venture Company established in USA, as “Cyberworks Visesh LLC”, which is owned 50% each by Cyberworks & Visesh. This new entity, combined the ISO certified infrastructure and management of Delhi-based, Visesh Infotecnics Ltd, one of India’s fastest growing publicly traded technology companies with the resources of Cyberworks Software Inc, a US based corporation and leading edge 21 year old technology company. The first contract bagged by this JV was a million contract from the US-based Fortune 500 Company, EchoStar Communications Corporation.



Commenting on the development, Mr. Sanjiv Bhavnani, CEO & Managing Director of Visesh Infotecnics said, "We are excited about this new contract, as it is our maiden entry into the UK market and helps leverage the infrastructure that we have built for our KPO division operating under the name, V-Connect. We are starting order fulfillment though a second shift from our Gurgaon-based Call Centre, initially with 65 seats which will be ramped-up to 200 seats over a period of four months."



Mr. Burhanpurkar, CEO of Cyberworks Software Inc stated that this marks an important initial entry into a key market for Cyberworks Visesh which will lead to rapid geographical penetration.
