Talking A small Doubt on IPO's

Dear Members...

I have a doubt on IPO...

Like Take for Example The Present SunTV ipo..

I have 3 Demat accounts..one in name of myself,My borther and my wife..

and My budget for investing in a IPO is 1.5lacs..

So wat my doubt is..Is it Advisable to invest the whole money in a single Demat account or i can divide it and apply equally in each of account..

So that i can get more shares from the ipo..

i hope i am clear and somebody would come forward to help me out in this..

This was how IPO fraud was done.
Hope you don't find it offending as you won't be committing any fraud.

In the recend IPO Fraud, a few persons opened thousands of Demat accounts in the name of fictious persons. Thereafter, using this huge base of demat accounts, they used to file multiple applications as retail investors thereby increasing the probability of allottment. This is the gist and this was what I was referring to.

Best Regards,
