What's gurantee way for getting IPO

i heard that hnis and institutional investors are guranteely allotted in ipo's

what's the amount that must be invested to be considered as hni or institutional investors

Does that mean that if I apply for Rs.2,00,000,I would be alloted those many shares?How can that be possible when QIB portion gets subscribed almost 50 times for good IPO's?Plase elaborate.

I believe he just gave the eligibility for QIB.

I dont really think so, that there is any guarantee thar you will get IPO whenever you apply.

It mainly depends upon the company to whom they think they can allocate. NOT sure what you mean, or is there any base it has?

There is a chance you will get shares worth 4000/- only.

Companies generally tend to allocate to hnis and qib definitely as they think that retail investor are quick sellers of their shares while hni's tend to hold for long periods. So I asked the criterion for being hni

apply maximum allowed shares (worth) for retail investor category ...first day at earilest with cut off bid rate..then probability of allotment will be more.don't think how much you get ...most of the time you will.
