I have been granted the rights to purchase an IPO

I can buy up to 100,000 shares in an IPO set to hit the market early next year. Unfortunatly I dont have a million bucks laying around. I would really hate to let this go. Has anyone here ever sold their rights to an IPO? If I could sell my rights to most of the stock I could use the proceeds to buy some myself.

AM I just daydreaming or is this possible? How would I find a buyer? Ebay?

You must be joking. How can anyone assure a fixed quantity of allotment to any person in an IPO? If you are a promoter of the Company planning IPO, then the shares allotted to you will be locked for some years.

Well here is the scoop. A bank that I had deposits in is going public and is giving all of its depositors the ability to buy 50,000 shares of its IPO and I have two different acounts with them. I dont have $500,000 to buy the stock and with the history of IPO's I am sure there is somebody out there who would love to get in on it.

I have nothing to do with the company other than having deposits with them.
