Can any one explain me wht does "Post Issue Equity share capital" mean. And it would be great if you can also elaborate on how it can be connected to an IPO?
Also if "Post Issue Equity share capital" is less than the "Projected finance through current issue" then is it an indicator that the company has to spend capital raised by the IPO to clear debts? thanks in advance |

I know only POST EQUITY SHARE CAPITAL : it means the TOTAL EQUITY SHARECAPITAL after the ipo issues , if the company is able to raise the money from market. For eg. if infosys is coming to IPO and wants to raise some 200 crores and the current equity capital is 500 crores(say) then post equity capital is 700 crores if infosys is able to raise all 200 cr from public issue. this what i know . i may not be corect also. |
