Bottomline

Moreover they buy it with the dream of overnight riches on listing day.

height of foolishness.
i knew rpower has no business now and i got 17(slaps)
but that time market was in different direction.
and 'if' it would have been in same direction 'then' result wld have been different.

these if's and but's change thigns.

point is flowing with the trend (blindly).

and (again) 'if' next month reliance power touches Rs1000( for example only) then attitude will change.

when we earn even from garbage stock then its good and when we dont earn even from gold then gold is also useless.

point is how we earn.

everyone saw its getting oversubscribed and thought that we might make money
i do not say rpower is a good issue. its not abt issue its abt oppurtunity.

i hope i havenot offended anyone.

The moot question here is Did we apply for Listing gain or to be with Reliance's venture.
Nobody got more than 17 per application (in retail section) which boils down to 7.5k only.
On every Muharat Day it is my habit of Buying ;RIL / Tisco / Infy (maybe only 5 Nos),that is different from everyday trading.

At 300 RPwr would be fairly valued for FY 14

By same parameters for Fy09 the fair value would be 60-65.
Without discounting execution risks however the fair price would go up to 90.

But surely it cannot come down to those levels.

Kalyan.

just a question, had rpower had been in green should threads with opposite words would have been created. i mean "daylight charity in the form of IPOs". i bet not. then ppl would pat their back and boast how savvy investor he/she had been. just like ppl used to before the crash.
