Question URGENT HELP PLS - Reliance and icicidirect

Hi Friends,

Anyone has idea as to how does one go about applying via icicidirect when the IPO is happy to take partial amount initially and rest at allotment i.e. Reliance?

I could not find the option in icicidirect to do the needful. Any SUGGESTIONS/GUIDANCE/HELP. Please let me know as I really don't have much expertise in using the portal. Your help will be highly appreciated...

THANKS,
Hari

When that IPO gets open, Automatically u will get two options under Reliance Power in icicidirect, asking user wheather u want to go for full payment or partial payment.

Right now u will not get these options over there

Hi Anilpral,

"My ICICIDirect is under NRI and now when i am trying to apply, it says, that this part payment is not enabled for NRI."

NRI's have to make full payment. Part payment is not accepted. This option is only for Resident Indians.

Regards,
Hari

i placed the order for the Reliance power using icicidirect (part payment option) when i check my order book the status says ordered and not executed.

Generally if you place a ipo order (for ex future ) it shows as executed within a few hours.

I emailed icicidirect but got the standard ack email but no answer.

I am planning to invest in Reliance Pwer IPO as a HNI. I have not used this category before, can somebody guide me on how to invest as a HNI in ICICIDirect.

Also is ICICIDirect allowing part payment option for HNI's. What exactly is "Non-Institutional Investor" option, is this HNI or QIB?

The help link says part payment is not available for "Non-Institutional Investor".

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

NO you will NOT get a part payment option also NOT the 20 Rs discount. (I guess that is fine looking at the premium that one can earn on this IPO)

But I would NOT recommend you applying as an HNI. For...
1. The number of shares reserved for HNI is less than retail
2. it'll be oversubscribed much more than retail
3. If you're applying for 10 Lakh + amount only then you have a possibility of receiving more lots than a retail investor otherwise you might end up with 2 lots like all retail investors inspite of blocking so much money.
