hi all. I have the question of a novice: I want to subscribe for Cairns ipo: as far as I can make out I am supposed to bid for it. How exactly does it work?I have the option of making three bids between the price band 160 and 190. Will I stand a chance of success if I bid 190 on all shares or is it better to bid different prices on the different lots? Also if I BID 190 on all and the issue price is decided at 160 will I have to pay 190? Pls advise on the best way to bid. I am interested in bidding for over 300 shares. pls reply someone!

Hi Friends,
This is my first contribution to the group. After a long analysis on Cairn India I came to conclusion that it is presently expensive as compared to its peers like ongc, ril, primarily. But if we are looking the assetwise it had a great potential to rise in future. So, if you are considering it for long term then it looks very attractive. So, One can buy only if he/she is looking for the period of two-four years. If you find you in this category then enjoy this IPO. Regards, Vinod Kr. Research Analyst
