USB 3 devices

#1
Hey guys, do you use any USB 3 devices on your computer ? I thought that since my computer has a USB3 port, I should use it. I was thinking of a USB 3 mouse, but can't find one on amazon.in or any e-shopping sites.

Please provide your inputs about this.

I use USB3. USB3 will not improve mouse working. It will be useful if you connect USB3 external HDD or stick. Data transfer is very fast.

you use USB3 for ?? Data storage devices ?

I have an older WD external HDD (USB2). Can I use it with the USB3 port using some sort of converter cable ? Are such cables available ?

I am not sure of converter cables. As long as external USB device is USB2 compatible, I think speed improvement may not be there. I am using USB3 external HDD ans Stick/

You can open up the external HD enclosure, this will give you access to sata, then you need a sata to usb3 adapter/enclosure if you want to keep it external.

my useless old external HD is now being used as internal HD and working good.
