TV is never that clear than monitor thats why monitors are sold separately, it will strain your eyes out! Use LCD tech monitors atleast if you dont have the budget. I use a two monitor set up.

I am really confused about multiple monitors setup can anyone using it please help?

I need to have 3 monitors setup for now which might be upgraded to 4 monitors setup in near future

What do I need to get it? Motherboard don't have 4 hdmi output, do I need an extra gpu? Or no gpu but hdmi splitter will do the job?

What are the disadvantages of a splitter?

You can either add additional GPU if your motherboard support or either upgrade it if only 1 GPU is supported or you can go for external USB graphics card and I think this will be best option( search Plugable 3900 in Amazon or ibhejo)
Cost of this usb 3.0 is around 50$ and it can add 2 monitor ,so you can have 2 monitor on your current GPU and 2 on this external USB card. I am personally useing this usb and it is very good product.....hope this help's
