Dual Monitor setup

Hi,
I have a laptop and a external monitor. Both connected through HDMI port and set to duplicate windows. Is possible to run different programs in both? I mean run now on laptop and amibroker on external manitor

Yes, change that monitor mode to Extended Desktop . . .

Yes, you can. You can do whatever you want in your both monitor. But for that to happen, you have to set the mode "extend the desktop to this monitor".

Do you know, you can use another monitor with your laptop.

Hi tradewell2,

First connect the external monitor to VGA port (NOT HDMI port). If you use your HDMI port, then it will duplicate your desktop.
To connect to VGA port, you will need VGA cable.

Then right click on your desktop, goto Graphics Option -> Output To -> Extended Desktop -> Built - in- Display and Monitor

Now enjoy.

Even you can add more monitors to your laptop.
