TT - Tech Talk (Computers, Laptops, Tablets, Mobiles, Devices, Systems & Software)

Re: TT - Tech Talk (Computers, Laptops, Tablets, Mobiles, Devices, Systems & Software

Thanks Happy Singh Bro For your reply & help
So I need a Desktop PC for that & I need to use extra monitor for that..
But Amibroker software is only one & gfdl data is only one..How do we see different scrips on different monitors? how can it be possible?
thnks
With multiple monitors you can setup multiple charts to show different tickers/time frames, with only one instance of Amibroker with one data source.

Once the hardware is in place software can be set-up easily.

In Amibroker you can use multiple panes with the floating window and place it on the extended monitor.

How many monitors (maximum no of monitors)can we attach with one desk top PC?
Do we need special PC? or What should be the configuration for that PC?what would be the cost?
Thanks

Ask you hardware guy for details,

As far as I know have used a graphics card with 4 extra ports for extended monitors

So 4 or maybe 5 monitors can be used.

If you are using it only for trading i.e. only 3 software then no need for very high configuration . . .

But again others with better knowledge of hardware can guide you.

I have been using a lap top with extended monitor (one) for quite some time, usint the monitor for charts and the laptop screen for trading software.

What hardwares & softwares do I need for that..please suggest
thanks
Hi,
5 monitors and 1 laptop is an insane idea. :D
Instead why don u buy a 32/42 inch led tv and attach it to laptop.
My opinion is that in 32 inch led 4 scrips can easily be viewed.

You can make 5 monitor trading pc,but it will be costly

Options 1
Mortherboard with support two pci express cards for dual graphic card cost 8k-20k
2 X Graphic card with 2 HDMI or displayport cost will around 8k-15k per card
Monitor which support HDMI/Displayport 12-15k per Monitor

Options 2
Other you go with usb display adapter
Dont waste money 2-3k cheap they stop working after some time
Good one cost around 4-8k per you will need 1 adapter each Monitor (If you have someone come from US try getting that from their dirty cheap their)

Options 3
If you have Graphic card get 2nd monitor 24/27 inch
Put one chart main monitor and 4 chart on 2nd monitor
currently i am using Dual monitor see screenshot below
See how i have my charts if see trade coming in tatasteel.I switch with amibroker with help symbol lock so tatasteel come on my main screen and relcap switch yo 2nd one

or as vijkris suggested go 32/40 inch lcd just make sure you check for chroma subsampling 4:4:4 or else chart and front will jag all over screen (You can't fix that with cleartype settings on front) Do google on how to test
chroma subsampling and put file usb pen drive and check with tv store

Am getting disconnected while trying to log into TradeTiger. Called the helpline, and my call in the queue is 9... So wondering if this is a problem for other traders too? Or is TT working fine for you?

Thanks

Hi,

I amm havingg PC issues:

1. As observed above, the keyboard types ttwo or three times same keys repeatedly thus I am unable to login properly anywhere as all the paaswords is showing incorrectt and blocking my a/c. :annoyed:

2. The ethernet port in lappy ggot bust. Yday went tto service centre and they are asking 1500 bucks for that.

Saw in amazon, external usb tto lan adapter for 250 bucks. Anyone else used it ?
Is itt advisable tto buy itt ?

What to do with this keyboard. ? Any solllution ?

Re: TT - Tech Talk (Computers, Laptops, Tablets, Mobiles, Devices, Systems & Software

IMO, you have to change keyboard, no other solution
Or discuss with a pc technician, if he may have some other solution.
