Sharp rises in the Chilli prices are expected due to
poor arrivals and huge demand in the domestic market. Today’s arrivals at Guntur market are 25000 bags of new crop and 30000 bags of cold storage Chilli. Spot prices are quoting at Rs. 3300 per quintal except other costs like package, storage and transportation. About 50% of the crop expected to lesser this season. During May and June prices may reach Rs.4500 per quintal. |

Thankyou Adil for your information on chilli. My opinion on the above is that the fundamental near term view in chilli being possible, a rise may not happen without bit more correction. Alternatively one can go long above 3370 with approirate stoploss (of say 15 to 20 pips).
On the subject of Urad, its very difficult to make a call due to its volatility. If one wishes to go short, it can be attempted with SL above 2980 (Mar). |

Bad weather in vijaywada and andhra. enough masala for urad players. so dont b surprized if moves up with bang.
Chana very strong buzz heard in the circle.even talks of 2500 in long term are there(may or june). let s c Report about tur is that ncdex officials have visited burma and approved the crop for delevery. so insiders has got the news before it comes out officially so got beaten one side down. |

As far as i have news its is that , there is no fundamental reasons behind this drop , only speculation . I would also advise to hold ur position . as i have bought at 1804 . If the market is moving against u , then it would be advisable to short the near contract , atleast this way you will not be making much loss . Arrivals are steady but there is lack of demand . The moment any type of demand comes in there will be a sudden spurt . SO LOOK OUT . We are in the same position as of now . I have no worries at this stage on GUAR . RELAX its bound to bounce . Looks like it has already started . |
