Yes Amit, This place has become rather inactive except the few people posting here. Guys like NCdex, Sona and other old timers have also suddenly gone silent. Lets all try to make this place more active and information packed. I will do my two bits too... cheers

but beware of march. shorting april and other contracts is good idea. i have written short april when it was around 2900. now 2650. and has more room downwords.

entering lemon at lower levels will b an excellent buying opportunity. it will definatly touch 2000 in near future.

Yes Day trader, your call to short April urad was very timely and a good call. REgarding a further fall of march contract, while this appears to be likely, what is puzzeling is that the open interest is also falling along with the price which technically does not make it very bearish. However my vote is for a further fall!

Crude prices shot up quite a bit inspite of the US holiday . We may be able to see some more price hike .

Here is the latest news update on the Nigeria Crisis .

SELL SOYOIL

The Bird flu has caused yesterdays fall in the REFSOYOIL prices . As long as the Bird flu is around we may see further down fall . There are further rumors that the duty on soyoil will not be hiked in the near term , so all the more reason for soyoil to move down .

Angry Re: Ncdx Trading Tips

As i suspected and from various reports, bull operators has jumped into urad march. Rumours of 3100-3200 are in the corner. Reports of myanmaar trader are very much true but the problem is till april 1 st week there will b very little arrival of physical stock here in mumbai. so march will b in full bull control.

if march moves higher april and other contracts may not remain bearish till 20 march expiry. So we can expect real bearish trend in urad untill any heavy load of cargo arrives on mumbai ports which is unlikely till 20 march.

Today huge open interest was built up with rising price in march. and today evening spot prices also shoots up to 2950 in mumbai and above 3100 in delhi with good buying pressure.
So operators can pull march to new levels. There for i think its better to cover shorts of april till bulls r in full force
