outlook of chilly

chilly is all set to make new highs.

recently we saw spurt of Rs. 200 in chilly prices in just 10 days.
market sources says that this is just begining.
fresh crop of chilly is likely to come in february.but this time market is expecting chily crop lower by 30 to 40%.

on the other there are many big farmers and stockiests are holding up there stocks as they too expect decrease in production.

demand side of chilly is quite facinating too. as india is the biggest supplier of chily in the world. and demand of chilly will always be there in the market all the time by exporters as well as domestic players. whatever chilly is coming in the mandies at this time are straight way sold in the market is indicating a strong demand.

technical view:

on the chart chilly is looking very bullish. it has formed cup and handle pattern.and is in the phaze of handle if it crosses 3209(march). then there are chances that it could reach to 3500. any one want to take long should wait untill march passes 3155 and stays there.

note: marketing sources are also saying chilly passing level of 3500.

hey guys,

i have a one very interesting topic to debate on.

suppose somebody is very bullish on guar then in which month of contract should he/she take the position so that one can get maximum benefits.
whether march or april? why? (in today's scenario)

Right now only following urad and chana..
Good short covering seen today after yesterdays hammering..
i noticed that urad jan O.I gained quite a lot despite expiry is near.. i am feared that bulls may play some tom and jerry game in jan.. so beware..

Guar seed march is trading with good volumes and also has an increasing open interest on falling price. This may not auger well for the bulls. Personally i will not be long. IMHO. Just a view since you wanted one

What is the outlook on Menthaoil March contract. Its gone up substantially since Sept 2005.

any fundamentals behind the up rally of urad today.

can any 1 tell me wat is happening in guar has been stable for long time . no much fun is there either watching or trading in the said commidity.
how do u see the future prises of tur;urad; chana;guar during feb month

where u r from , wat all commodities u track
r u into this bussiness of grains(well am indulged in this bussiness of grains and spices; we r commission agents of the said commodities)

my fear got it right.. i was warning since long time not to go short in urad jan.. thats what happening.. bull operators have jumped with full power..pulling jan like mad bull.. lots of new cartels has been formed for this pullup...its pure false play becoz there is no genion buyer even in 2700 spot.. operators just waana put short sellers money in pocket so they had played a good game..
so till jan 21 dont short any contract of urad..

Chana looking week and bearish.. short feb above around 1780-1800 range.. cover around 1750-65..
feb tur also looking good for shorting..
not traking guar at the moment..
