Tremendous pull back in Urad giving a good chance for stuckup positions to be liquidated. Urad might give a chance to exit around 2925 levels (hopefully). Hopefully similar bounceback will occur in chana and Tur also..but dont bank on it.

Hi Ncdx,

Even i heard of full 20000 tons of chana being imported.

i feel even i shd square off my positions in all commodities, time doesn't seem to be favourable as of now.

all the commodities are too stretched, spot trades have taken a beating, demands from retail side not striking...

very confused and some what beaten..

any reports, tips or advises are welcomed...

thks

urad did bounce back today.. reports are that 200 cntainers from pakistan have touched mumbai ports.. its a good chance for EXIT those who r stuck @ higher levels in urad.. not too positive in urad @ the moment.. i think todays pullback is operators play and nothing else!!!

Chana also going totally against.. lots of stop losses triggered.. now will enter only after 20.. as far as rumour goes,, yeas there is a rumour that full 20000 tons vessal is under loading in Australia.. but its not 100% confirmed!!

Tur:
crop will b out in dec 2 nd week.. too much stock also there in warehouses plus ncdex stock.. so strategy should b EXIT if any pull back comes.. right now can go both ways.. mixed reports are heard in lemon...

As far as my position goes.. since time is not good,, i will better wait and watch and will more refine my prediction..
i know that this thread is taken very seriously.. i aplogise from all reader here..
So once again strategy shld b EXIT if in any pullback comes

Hi All Readers,

I lost 95K amount of money due to wrong advise at wrong given ny NCDX.

This above message was in noon yesterday mentioning that "reports are that 200 cntainers from pakistan have touched mumbai ports." and immediately i sold 3 lots of urad which i did buy at 3010 some 1-2 weeks back. This guy given it will move 3300 next target but went to very low almost 280 rs.

After seeling this lots and yesterday it closed at 2800 urad jan and today 2850+ urad jan.

Dont fall in trap of this guys ... they make public foolish. On monday as i was surfing net and went to commoditiescontrol.com site seen message that ship load of pulses including arrived some 1700 tons. I did not realise that was only to go down and later it should move.

Lost all the money. I hope you open ur eyes and trade. Done beleive this idiots tips.

I ask traderji to take this one seriosly.....

Shruti

Hi

Never expected such a response in this thread . Shruthi this is not the right thing to do . Lot of people have lost money this week . Loosing money is not a nice feeling , but dont blame anyone for it but urself , as the trade is such . I HOPE U KNEW THE RISKS BEFORE U ENTERED THIS FIELD.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING THAT WAS ALREADY POSTED ON THIS THREAD

Hi Mitali,

Happy diwali---
looks to me ur a senior member..
ok so u want to enter into commodity futures
one word of your that scres me is "ZERO" knowledge..
this market is as risky as anyone can think in his worst nightmare..i am not trying to afraid you but thats the reality.. i would advise the same tips that i have written to Shruti.. keep remember some more tips----
1> Always trust to your research and mind.. not to any broker or even my self..becoz no one is 100% perfact. if i can predict absolutly 100% i can b the next Bill Gates.. 2>do not "BLINDLY" follow any tip or advise. not even mine becoz i hav gone wrong too
U SHOULD READ THE TIPS FOR ANALYSYS PURPOSE ONLY. THAT MEANS IF YOUR IDEA MATCHES WITH MINE OR ANY ONE ELSE, U WILL GET DOUBLE CONFIDANCE IN UR TRADING..

3>this business is all about physical demand and suppy of any commodity u take,, bullions, metals, agri, energy etc.
so more the supply lower the prices & vice versa. thats how speculations r made and pricec are discovered of a particular contract..
4>just try to gain more and more info as much you can from as many sources.. that will help a lot..

if any more queries do post here becoz that will help lots of new comers..

Hi shruti,,

well there was no physical demand in the ready market here in mumbai in urad.. + outside buyers were also silent..and there was also heavy profit booking seen in ncdx..
overall today was not a good day for urad.. this 1700 ton vessal has toned down the bulls a bit..
so overall sentiment is that market may play in 2900 -- 3000 range till new demand come in the spot market..
overall trend is still very positive but one sould b very careful in these 3000 levels.. only very high risk takers should trade in urad now..

Hi Shruti,
I understand-----U have lost a lot of money ---I'm totally compassionate to u---but then----I feel -u r a bit too harsh on NCDX----As far I remember----He repeatedtly told ---that it is a very risky market----and one should only enter here----with through preparation,knowledge---and contacts---Moreover----he has posted a lot of informative materials---taking his time out---I think---Shruti---u being net shavy----should have collected and crosschecked----every minor details before landing on the trap---
Remember---Trading--either Commodities or F&O----is an approx Zero sum Game---where---90---92%losses---5--7%gains---and rest remain in a breakeven position----All traders--in general look for their own profits---so in future---be cautious---to take ahead a step---
Also---friend--lets not move away from the game from one loss--for---I hope---one day we commoners will truely understand the real secrets----and who knows---we may even aim and become successful ---- to beat the very best in their own courtyard----in this reckless ZERO SUM GAME---
Regards,
joy_mitali

I can feel the pain of shruti and others.. i did feel hurt by her comments a bit...and i have apologise to all before her writing...i dont wanna disclose how much i have lost but she s not alone here i think..i really appriciate the support of sona, mitli & you all frndz..
my intension is to give readers all the demand/supply info, market buzz and little bit of calls..and i am not asking anything from anyone if they gain....

but thats all part of the game..good time never stays all the time.. u cant make 100% all the time.. agar 100 kamaya hai to 50 jata bhi hai.. aana-- jana chalta rehta hai agar market me rehna hai to..until u bet u wont get results,, sometimes + sometimes - ..

in case of urad it has touched from 1800 to 3000 in world record time.. so risk has to be there..
urad as i have cautioned at 2950 that south demand is very dull.. still there s still no strong demand seen..
as per my info ,this pullback is all becoz of november expiry.. bull operators have played similar game like october expiry..so this is a brilliant chance to exit..

i did make calls in chana right from 1920 levels.. and touched 2270-80 in very short time.. lots of frndz did make money..as far as i remember i am also writing calls in urad since 1900.. one can see the previous threads..

from now onwards i will write only market buzz and info..
its upto readers piont of view, how he/she interprit it..

I just expect a thanks from readers and feel happy..
thats what i am getting here.. no one would like to be cursed!!!

Hello everyone

Its really unfortunate that some strong feelings have been expressed here and one can only emphathise with shruti's anguish at the loss. Ofcourse she is not the only one who had lost. If one understands the nature of markets,be it commodities or equities, its always the greed and fear that lets us down in these markts. When the prices of urad or channa had been going up, it would have been prudent to do some partial profit booking and also placing trailing stops so that atleast the capital would have been protected. Without understanding these nuances of the markets, its foolish to even enter these markets.

I do not doubt for a moment that whatever ncdex or others have been posting are with any malefied intentions. In a market as huge as this it does not make a difference whether x or y buys or sells a couple of lots. Its upto us to use the information as wisely as possible rather than blaming someone for our shortcomings.

I too from my side have been trying to suppliment Ncdex's fundamental views by posting some charts as and when I am able to. I request membes here to continue posting whatever information they think is useful for everyone. I'm sure even shruti will see reason over time and benefit from the information (if she still desires to.)

Sir ,
Most of us here have lost money. In my case i had a decent investment but now i am left with not enough money even to hold any commodity for a day. But i will not blame you as you are just letting out your point of view and it is we who decide the trade and the stoploss. I humbly request you to continue your posts in the same way and not be affected by these baseless allegations. I can understand that shruti is frustrated but we all must not be punished for her being frustrated. your views are of high importance and very much respected by most of us here. I will be waiting for your views in urad , channa , guar and tur as before. We all are looking forward to gain knowledge and recover our losses in a slow and steady manner.

To shruti
if you feel that this thread is not useful i would like to request traderji to block you from viewing this thread. I hope you will not sit and expect others to do analysis for you again in your life. Please be careful with your words as insulting anyone as of ncdx's calibre is insulting every one of us here. I hope you learn something out of this experience and think a few times before such a harsh reply.
