I am new to traderji and new to investing. though I am eying stock market closely for years, I have got my demat account open last week.
as I am building my portfolio, I want to be sure that I am building a well diversified high yield returning portfolio.
I am planning to allocate my money in this manner-
A. 7.5% Gold ETF
B. 12.5% n100 (It is ETF by Motilal oswal, it invests in NASDAQ 100)
C. 7.5% Hangseng ETF by GS. (HNGSNGBEES)
D. 15% in MCX-SX ETF
E. 7.5% in NIFTY ETF
from point A to E, I have invested 50% of my money in systematic manner for Long term perspective.
for the remaining 50%, I am reserving it to buy Large CAP equity which are fundamentally strong but for some reasons are trading near 52w low level.
and if there is huge gap between 52w low and high, I may buy the equity even at 52w low+20%.
currently, metal and banking shares are trading at low levels, so I am buying ICICI bank and Tata steel.
I have also made up my mind not to invest more than 10% of my free fund in a single company. so If my intuition go wrong, I won't be losing big.
I am a long term value investor and I like to see my tree growing. but I think one should harvest fruits as and when they are ripe. so I will sale my current holding as and when they reach level of my expectation. and I will reinvest them in other 52w low equities.
plus I am planning to increase my investment amount on a monthly basis.
I read lots of financial blogs. and I am drop out CA student so I can read financials of a company, and I understand implications of various ratios.
If at the end of year, I see my investment grow at 30% PA, I am a happy man.
Do you think my strategy is sound enough to deliver my expectation?
