Warm Hello to TJ members,

Coming back here after quite a while. Been busy with personal life. Gonna be more active. Good to see few old names still here. ST da is also active still.

Will post tomorrow about my future plans with Financial markets. Have become a more matured/calm/disciplined(hopefully :D) person. Gonna be trying to change my trading style from a Micro manager to some one who trades High TFs ;)

Aim is to build a relaxed trading strategy with atleast 40% return pa. Will try to post what i would like to do with the wealth i have. Help along the way would be really appreciated

Going through my old AFL collection. Search on for ideas. Hundreds of AFLs to go :p.

Only Things i am certain about right now are :

Gonna Trade Daily TF. With an eye on 3,5 and 10 Days TF. Gonna take very few trades.

Some points of concern in mind which i need to work upon. Any help on these will be really appreciated.

1) Can take trades on Market open. But backtesting of such system will be very difficult due to market opening volatility. Can take trades on Daily bar closing but need to find a reliable way to do this(less probability of me going with this due to office)

2) Is there a way to take short position in equity. Dont want to go for derivatives as would like to diversify with more no. of trades. Capital wont be adequate for holding multiple future positions.

3) Really not followed market for quite a while now and as i hav always been trading on small TF's dont have much experience on judging the long term phase of the market. Dont want to be taking positions in a sluggish market. Becomes really frustrating. Happened in 2011 and 2012. This becomes more imp when one is trading daily TF's.

List is long will keep adding

Got a new job which is 2pm-11pm :) . So gonna get time to daytrade. Trading Daily TF hasnt been nice. I feel i dnt have an edge against other traders while trading Daily TFs. Difficult to explain this. Mind is accustomed to trade small Tfs.

Been a good last week . Had 17% return on a really small capital :D

I m trying a MM technique which some1 had told me here only.

Risk 1st trade : 2%
If u win increment the risk by 2% . Once on a win if u loose then approx half the risk. Upper cap is 10%.
I try to keep Risk:rewardR better than 1:1.
I trade NIFTY Options and NSE EQUITY.
Method is based on simple Price action.

Had a good day. Got 2 long positions at open booked them and took short in 2 . Exited shorts. Already in good profits.

Now not sure what gonna happen. Will definitely not short here right now. Market looks confused.

Got 52% Return on a very small Capital in 4 sessions . Getting the feel of the market . Have no defined rule except for the risk per trade. Using Basic price action and Screen Glaring :p.

Need to have a full system in place. Cant seem to get out of old habits.
