What would be the base for calculations ? Nifty at 7200 ?? Sensex 24000 ? Or the earlier top of nifty around 6300 ??

I don't Know I see 20K nifty.........in Next 5 years......we may see some huge crash but market will recover it......:thumb:

You forgot one choice: Not predictable and no need to predict, as traders always take, what ever it is, as it comes. Not like politicians who always want to predict and tell the future.

7200 and 6300 is history now...let us measure from current levels of 8500 Nifty

Goodness !! That's a tough call, considering that the markets factor in events 6-9 months in advance.

I would expect nifty between 10200-11000, so I'll vote for 0-50%.

Suppose ... I ... OR ... anyone...predicts ... that

NIFTY after 5 years 25K ...... OR ... 5K

.... After 5 Years noone will remember me or the fortune teller .. what is told now ...

So I can easily & safely hazard a very wild (guess) figure ..... without being accountable for it.

The shorter the time frame .... more you are on under spotlight and hence the accountability.

The Longer term prediction....

Today noone remembers the expert analyst who had declared on CNBC channel in Jan 2008 that Suzlon will easily reach 750.

True.....so many examples we can give...moreover...index is moving not because of new govt.....global factor...again only global factor.

If Global Factor goes weak.....next day entire things will change..

Anyway...nothing is in our hand...we have only one option in front of us..."go with what market says now"
