A question for backtesters.......When you backtested a system or method, did you also backtest whether it was an event day, expiry week, Dow crash day, Dow zoom day or an expiry day or did you backtest the chart without worrying about the day/date or even time (travi I think has backtested the time, but how about the others) ....just curious.
yes !!! i have tested know events..rbi and budget days....as the event was linked to time ...other days are always normal days not bothered on any news !!!
Trader is so specialized that it's probably not going to come up under any category.
Bottom line is that the best personality type for a trader is a rationalist (NT) who can be decisive (J). The most profitable traders I know are INTJs. The "I" simply means that you pause to think things over a little more before you act. ENTJs do well, too. Same with, though to a lesser extent, ISTJs/ESTJs.
No bad news but results have come so all people who stocked in anticipation of results are booking out and getting into something like ITC or Motherson Sumi which are moving up...
