What is Stock Market_ Traders View

Hello to all my Traderji friends. This thread is not about trade ideas but about true established facts about the Markets which might help a trader in building his trade stratergy or deciding if he should take a trade or not. I will keep posting ideas everytime i am reminded of something useful. All you guys are welcome to post your thoughts, ideas and criticize mine.

No two people can make money in the stock market, one mans fortune is another mans loss or lost opportunity.

The most important thing in markets is not about being right or wrong in predicting its direction but about your leverage and your ability to accept risk and execute your idea.

Now keeping this rule in mind,

Most news channels promote views of independent traders and fund managers, why would they tell you their ways of making money?

They get paid for appearing on TV and giving their views irrespective of whether their views prove right and anyone makes or looses money by trading on those views.

There were Stock market in 1606 there are multiple stock markts today. in 400+ years, there were not even a single person who made continious profits from the fluctuations of the price, but people still tries today, stock market is just a place to buy and sell marketable securities, nothing more then that.

Einstein, Read in the Market Wizard series, of a trader (don't remember the name now) who had about a thousand consecutive wins. (maybe some of even a few pennies) but overall, agree with you that not possible to maintain a continous winning streak - as it will impact performance/returns.

Never get possesed by a losing trade....

Meaning If your trade is in a loss dont try to make it work by averaging, Also the market is not all about one trade so remember when your losing money in one place you should be ready to look for other opportunities.
