Hello Friends,

Just a casual poll to know how many of you are 'Set and Forget' traders and how many of you actively manage your trade after entry.

You are also free to justify why you use either of them so beginner traders can get a fair insight on which one to use.

Thanks,

Karuna

best principle of trading is SET ,
s=stop
e= entry
t= target
........................................
when u think of stop first, many greed driven potential trade nullified, as for stop placing price try to bottom down first, considering long entry.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Set & forget is mechanical entry , strongly associated with neutral mind trader, Really young teacher dont bother for loss , so he is damn confident , his winning trade , nullify losers and give him +ive return.
From aspect of trade learning its far better.
Why SAM use it? ANS: its suit his temperament.
.....................
2 great traders Uashis/Mr H - believes only in active trade management, and if they have to go toilet , they exit first,- they believe so imp is active trade management , as it suits them.

Excellent perspective Oilman. I was reading Sam's Lesson from the pros where he also stresses on using SET. I think this is the best way a trader can control his emotions. thanks for giving the intersting perspective. I am completely convinced and will soon consider using SET principle. Thanks again!!
