My mistake of the day

Hello Friends
I wish to start this thread to realize today's mistake. So I can learn from my mistakes and don't repeat them in future for better performance.
Comments from all TJ members are most welcome which will help us all to learn a lot from our own mistakes as well as others mistakes too.

Today arround 1045 i wish to short nifty @6588-90 after its day high @6602.80
But missed the opportunity while nifty did not cross 6595 after that.
But when i short it @6563 and it went below 6525 and again it was not fall below 6522
I placed a SL @6533 when it was at 6528. SL got hit but modified at perfect time.
Lesson : Grab the opportunity as and when arrive.

I have been using NEST terminal almost for a year and switched to NOW last Friday. Was using it this morning for the first time. Weird thing was that in NOW, if one wants to place order with MIS, the order still has to be selected as NRML (which I was not aware of). I had to place the order 4-5 times and it kept on getting rejected. Further, some of the default settings were causing lots of confusion while I was struggling to get into the trade. Finally, ended up placing sell order instead of buy and didn't realize untill it was in deep red. (unlike NEST, NOW doesn't have color change function in POSITION WINDOW).

Lesson : Make yourself very well familiar with terminal/systems you use to avoid any sort of confusion/error during market hours.
