HOW to know a demat a/c is active/closed?

how to know or get information about your demat a/c where its active or closed?
[i have demat id and dp info]

a demat a/c is closed if there is no transaction is recorded in it for more than a year?

i have a demat with ANGEL BROKING and not using there services since 2011

Just try and log in with the credentials you have for that account, if it still logs in, your account is active. I think it would be active still unless there is an authorized intimation from our side. Because I have faced this and of course my account is still open with SBI and IIFL.
