Ravi Bhokse Course

hi,
I am trying TA from last 2 years with no much luck, dont know where i am going wrong. I know most of the concepts in TA and have good study but do not have good system or method to trade. One day I read this add in news paper about Mr. Ravi Bhokse two day advanced course. They claim one can earn money 3K to 5K a day.
Has anyone here taken this course, is it really worth, i am planning to go for it. But i need reviews because these days there are many fraud people teaching how to trade.

Most trainers make money by training rather than trading. Having said that, claiming 3K-5K earnings per day is misleading, as many TJ members will tell you. What you will get is a double average moving system which is simplistic tool used to impress beginners. Most trading platform will provide the same to you free. (Check Trade Tiger from Sharekhan)

However, if you still want to go ahead with the training, do ask to see actual trade records of Mr. Bhokse for a period of 2-3 months before you sign up.

I don't think any two day so called advanced course can change things overnight for anyone, it may help you to get hold of some concepts or trading method, but applying it and trading consistently to earn requires a great deal of experience. Browse through forum here, I'm sure you'll find every concept here. If you think what's going wrong with your TA analysis, post your studies, trades etc here, I'm sure many will be willing to help you.
And if you are trading equities, specially stocks, please narrow down your stock selection to 2-4 scrips maximum which should be liquid and trade only in them as I was sort of same situation when I started learning.

thank you DSM and Ashu, I understand what you both guys are trying to say. But i have also spent many hours of screen time and i have developed very good patience and money management, but i am lacking consistent good method. Am aware of the practical trading issues like slippage, psychology etc.

DSM, have u attended 2 day advance course? guys i am looking for genuine reviews on his course because i am not in financial position of losing the course fees if it turns out to be another teaching fraud. I attended his free seminar and he was showing people Indian tricolor flag agar flag sidha tou buy and flag ulta tou sell, I could make out it was MA system, but still think in 2 days course, could this be more refined with other things put in.

He talked real big in free seminars so I paid and joined. In the paid one, he explained only one Indicator properly and kept repeating MA and bragging about his own research prowess (never really revealed his research). In the end, he concluded with a statement "I hope, we never meet again". Only good thing he did is that he gave me a CD with lots of TA books which I read. I can give you that CD.

I know one trainer who gives free seminars in and around Mumbai. When he is western suburbs, he claims to be earning 10-15K per day. In eastern suburbs, he claims 2000 per day. His training course is approx 4000/-

Pairing of MA is simplest possible indicator and it is OK to use it in the positional trades. Chances of it being consistently successful in Intraday are slim.

Nevertheless, on this site and elsewhere, I have found 100s of ppl selling trading systems that at-its-core contain MA to generate signals with claims that are even more wild. I never purchased any of it.

If anything I learnt from Ravi was that I should trust no one but myself. Ravi also did try to sell us the Tip Service. I've never paid for any tips to anyone.

hi, in two years experience i have developed patience in real trading. i dont overtrade nor i trade on tips and advices. i have fair money management plan. i have real screen experience with no bucks in hand. My hubby is insisting to leave trading and do something other. But i want to do trading and yes there 2 yrs have taught me a lot and build my mentality. All i need is good methodology which has edge to make bucks.
mastermind, it will be nice if u clearly tell me whether the methodology taught by Ravi Bhokse , if i follow it rightly, will give returns like 3000 to 5000 per day on nifty trading.
is the method really gives 80% win rate and profit is larger than losing traders?

My two bits here :

You have already invested time and efforts, and are still persistence. Also, as you say you have patience in real trading. These are good though not complete attributes of a successful trader.

Suggest you read up on Price action trading. There are no indicators but zones where you can enter long/short with a good RR. For MA, check youtube videos of Oliver Velez. (Though he has infamy, what he explains makes sense)

Another bit of advise is to just track one largely liquid stock/index at periodic intervals of 1/5/30M, EOD & weekly. It will help to see understand the price structure of the stock unfolding in different time frames.

Also, suggested is the reading of the three book series - The stock market wizards. You can get pdf of the same over the net.
