how do brokerages calculate quarterly estimates like PAT estimates and EBIDTA? From where do these brokerages get info about the figures of various companies. How are their quarterly estimates so close to the quarterly results?
Also, I heard the infosys is currently trading 16 times its FY14 estimates.(on a news channel) What does this mean? Where do these guys find these number that too of FY14? Is there any website to find these number?
