How to register with SEBI as Investment Advisor

Hi All,

Does anyone have an idea on how to register with SEBI as investment advisor? I searched on net but could not find any method of doing so, although there were lot of articles on how SEBI is making it mandatory etc.

The same is under consideration and discussion by SEBI, and not yet notified.

What does dabba mean?

Arre yaar, Listen there are lots of loopholes in India, Jo laws pass karte hain they are busy with scandals toh laws mein khichadi pakka rakhi hai. You can legally give your opinion about any thing you want. You can advertise your an advisor and its not illegal unless you actually give advice. So when ever you give recommendation just say that it is "In your opinion" that is it.

He had opened a thread of his brokerage on vfm, that's how I came to know about him . I definitely would not put my money with him. Zerodha works just fine for me. When it's not broken, why should I try to mend it :thumb:

He wants to give advice in investing like I do. Later he will find out that no one trusts him and no one will give him his money. Today I spent 2 hours explaining to my ECONOMICS professor what I actually do. God Damn it. People in this country are so financially illiterate.
