Discussions about index movements..

Hi friends,
Started this thread to discuss, and to invite views about indices movement. For example, views are invited about the movement of nifty in the last half hour of 30/8/12.
Why did nifty move the way it moved... Any views, however bizarre, is welcomed..


Moderators, if the thread is kind of duplicate, then please give this thread a chance...

It should be becoz the bigger players want the market to close between 5300 and 5400 so that their big bet on writing 5300put and 5400call options give big reward...

but have observed that the same type of movement happens on more orless every expiry... Is that so??
