Dear Traderji Members,

i am currently in dubai and i am a sharekhan member, my question is can i do trading from dubai or it is not allowed by governement or SEBI.

My question is related to bank account also, i have a saving account with icici bank and i am using it for my trading account, should i need to open the NRI account to operate the account and do trading with sharekhan or this account alone is suffice.

Waiting for reply.

Tthanks & Regards,

You can do...open a resident individual account with any broker (do a proper brokerage and platform study). For bank account only savings account will be accepted. I am doing the same from UAE.

Did you enabled the commodity option while you opened your account with Sharekhan. If not call them, you need to fill and sign a separate form with supporting documents. MCX for metals and NCDEX for agri products.
