It's been a long time since I last posted....... very little time and too many things to do.

Some years ago, I wrote a charting program in VB6, as I needed certain customized functions which were not available anywhere.

Now I need even more customizable functions and I couldn't find the program source code, so I had to rewrite the whole thing from scratch....... in 2 hours free time per day......
Most of it is complete, just a few glitches to be removed and I'm ready to rock.

A few hypotheses have to be tested ....... some of them have shown huge promise, much better than anything else I've discovered so far.

I now have my own singing, dancing version of Ami, and I still don't know how to program a menu

Just in case anyone here uses TOS.........
I got a bunch of Thinkscripts from Cindy Faber....... they are not available to the general public yet.

The past swimlessons are archived...... even older ones are available from TOS support by email.

You talk like my charts. I always have difficulty in deciphering what you want to say. :D

Guys here are still struggling in intraday so here is my suggestion.....
In 2014, I was interested in daytrading, so a friend recommended https://hitandruncandlesticks.com/
At that time the subscription was 45$ for a full month with trading room access so I joiined. There was only one trainer and I attended one session...... he uses 2 moving averages and price structures.

From the video conferencing software, I could see 50-60 students names and the guy was doing live trades in front of the class.
After that I went out of town for a week and after returning I got sidetracked into other things and mostly realized that my patience is not good enough for slavetrading, er daytrading, so never attended further.

Now there are 4 trainers and the monthly sub is 85$.......... the cost of a stop loss for some here.

It takes real confidence in his method to do live trades in front of a class, for which he gets my vote.
Without the live trades, any course is worthless.

I'm buying Rel puts at the open today........ if there is no gap up, stop at 1451.

Unionbank turning point at 9:40 Am, ±5m......... direction unknown...... use your favorite technical indicator........ moving average crossover ....... the car honking outside..... whatever floats your boat.

Watch for an important S/R to be broken at this time.

What happened with your Reliance puts ?? Did you square off ??

And yes, Unionbank did give a move around 9.40am, but damn- it gave a whipsaw before that, and I booked out of my shorts :D. It's been going down since then. Maybe it will break below 150.

Thanks. Keep them coming.

A prediction/analysis gone wrong!

My RM squared off even before reaching 1450........ probably he also was in.

I'm aware this is after the fact post mortem, and I don't want to get into the Top 10 gallery of hindsight heroes so I'll stick to what I posted in advance.

The entry is at 9:40, ±5, off of an important s/r

Draw the s/r lines on a 1m chart and wait for 9:40........ is there a hit/bounce/break on the s/r ...... enter after the first candle above/below the s/r with the stop slightly larger than the candle size.

The entry was at 9:46 on a 1m chart when it bounced off the s/r ....... in the whole day it was Unionbanks biggest move.

My eagerness to enter a big move early before going inside office did me in ....... if I was a screen watchman, I would have waited for breakdown confirmation and then entered........ and if it went the other way I wouldn't have taken the trade.

Can't be helped.........with the constraint that I'm working from, this is the best I can do.

I'm buying SBI calls at the open today, stop at 288

I got an invite from Infinity Futures to attend a live webinar today........ it is open to all for free

Hdfc bank is holding the key to it all, resistance at 1800 ......... the whole world will rush in if it moves above.

Nifty minor low between 11:20 to 1150 Am.... probably the low of the day.

Remember, any trading method invented after the Stone Age never works ........................ ever

I'm told that most of the zero performance experts from the cartoon channels are here, either as members or lurkers. No surprise there, at times reading the market requires more than a single working brain cell

has the correction started?
First, stop watching tv.
Yesterday was a weekly expiry, so the usual rigging is a possibility ....... keep that in mind.

In June, there was a big down day and all of them proclaimed that the correction had started.
Nothing happened....... next they said that the correction would happen in July........... massive precision ......... 31 days of July are over and no correction.

The latest is that the correction will start in August, September, October, November or
December...... the truly amazing precision of a single working brain cell in action.

Getting back to the question......... I don't know, because the time framework of all markets has been distorted beyond imagination. There was one attempt to re align which did not work.

Before any crash starts, realignment must take place. Every crash was preceded by it. This doesn't apply to external events such as Brexit, etc.

My opinion, there will not be any deep downmove ....... remember that in 9 working days is
Independence day....... and there will be new highs to celebrate it.
