I have just started my career in trading (part time apart from my job).
I want to make money through doing intraday trading. Please help me out by giving me some useful tips so that i can make money without getting huge losses...
What should be the careful steps to work upon and what are the things on which i need to keep an eye.

If you are just starting and jumping into intraday trading, BEWARE. I would suggest you to get into longer timeframe trading and gradually ease yourself into intraday.

As for tips to make money without getting huge losses, the holygrail of trading exists and everyone is after them including you and me.

Practice makes the man perfect and only live trading will give you the experience required and make you better over the long run.

Good luck.

AA, a trading career starts with tips, experimentation, asking questions, and lots of mental doting.
We can tell with your 1st post you are off to a flying start. Give Manish a break. They are only innocent, intelligent queries.

Manish, I will say in response to your query, don't pay anyone for advice. It's not worth it. There is much free material to take advantage of, along with the excellent information you get here in this thread.

The one advantage in positional trading is that the trader has a chance to survey the whole scene before entering is not pressured for an immediate response. The advantage to daytrading is if you perfect it, then you are opening and closing positions on a daily basis and are able to derive that immediate benefit. It's a mental thing. I don't like scalping because I'm not that quick witted. Yet, daytrading and positional trading is fine for me.

Just like you said, practice makes perfect. It takes a lot of practice. I'm sure you know that.

A blend of Position & Day trading is fine with me too. I'm biased more towards positions though, may be its an age thing ?

Talking of age, the older you are the better you are in trading, no?

I'd like to think so. I like looking back on any given time period and think I've gained, learned or gotten better during that period.
