Hi every1

Just wanted some opinion on when should a person consider himself ready for full time trading? Its a difficult step to leave ur regular income job and go into trading as full time profession.

Want opinion of seniors on kind of problems and challenges they faced while leaving the regular source of income and becoming a full time trader.

Some of the criteria s which i think are important to take this bold step are :

1.When with part time trading you start to match your regular income on monthly basis.
2. Your equity curves moves up smoothly with very less draw downs
3. The office work becomes boring :D
4. You are confident and calm while trading and are always in full control of your emotions
5. You respect Risk.
6. You are always working hard and constantly trying to improve yourself in trading

Hehe... very true..:D

It is not about the money at the moment for me (can say this with 90% surety) But i know the moment i leave the job it will be about the money and Hell will break loose(This i can say with 100% surety) :D

Any Solution??

Very few people know this. As soon as assured income stops, even small losses will start pinching, forget bigger ones.

1. Your part time trading must exceed regular income in a big way.

2. Your equity curve goes up like a rocket, never mind the draw downs.

3. Your office work becomes exciting, since you would be full time trading now.

4. You are who you are and you know it well.

5. You respect risk, but you make it work for you.

6. You are always learning, but not necessarily working hard anymore.
