Help on pre-open session in NSE-BSE

Hey Friends ,

I am a online trader.
I want to ask something about pre-open session in NSE-BSE.

First Which Scripts Are Included in This List?

Second I See Pre-open session trade in NSE done, so can we trade In BSE Also In Pre-open like the same ways/?

I saw today that in NSE Pre Open Session Open price are displaying and changing while in BSE for the same stock no open rate is there only best 5 screen is changing.

So is there a problem in my terminal or u people also getting this kind of thing.?

I have some queries regarding pre-open session. I read lot of and watch video on pre-open session. But still I have queries.

e.g. in todays(19/1/2012) pre-open session(NSE) IEQ of such stocks like POWERGRID,HINDALCO,ONGC,HDFC are 0.


so take a example of powergrid its IEP is Rs 99.55 and IEQ is 0.

So what if i want to sell it or buy it?

If I put 100 quantity to sell at Rs. 99, will the trade executed? similarly If i put 100 quantity to buy at Rs. 100 , will the trade executed?

Please Help On This Issue.

Hi,viharpatel ,the pre opening market is only to fix open price as an average interest order base no orders exicutes at that time any orders may either continue or modify at pre_defined (or fixed on average based) open price for exicution after 9.17am only.
