Coal India, made complete fool of me :)

#1
I got 25 shares of coal india in IPO and I am still holding it ... and if my monetary condition permits I will continue to hold it ...

Some of my friends and relatives asked for my advice on which stocks to buy and I always recommended them to buy coal india ...

now after the mining bill and workers salary raise and other market stuff, the stock is in down trend ... people are starting to question on my advice :) ...

I still think that the stock is very good bet for long term ... but how do I explain them ...

any way I have completely made fool of myself in this whole mess :D :D

One thing which I am happy about is now no one will bother me for any stock related questions :p

In the book "Reminiscences of a stock operator", a famous trader was asked by others whether he was bullish or bearish. He replied "You never know till you bet". It is hard to give investment advice to others.

I have lost money with another mining stock NEYVELI.

Hey dude, Even I hold few shares of Coal India from the day it got listed. Investing in Coal India is always a good option. I understand that the mining bill has affected the trend of the stock, but have a look at the business opportunity Coal Indian as a company has got. It is one the largest coal lending firm in the world. Physical global seaborne coal trade is likely to be over 1000 million tonnes, up from 500 million in 2004, and to keep growing as world demand for coal rises, led by China and India. Do u still feel, Coal India is not a good option?

Point 1-----One is a fool to buy anything if his monetary condition is still fragile...Point no 2:----One is a fool to give advice to anyone for that matter when he needs trucks of advice himself...Point no 3------One is a fool in hoping that the stock will come back etc and good bet for long term....Point no 4-----One is a fool to think he has to answer the questions on advice wrongly given whatever...

Another wrong point---One thinks being a fool no one will ask him again...thats where he is wrong.. there are always greater fools out there.

Keep carrying on what you are doing....we are sure we will see you on Bloomberg or our desi CNBC channels giving expert advice....
