pay out shortage ...help plz

Hi all,
I brought share last week wed' and this is wat they mailed me..
can some one explain this ...

"This is to bring to your notice that there has been a shortage of 50 shares in the payout of the above shares by the Exchange to us and consequently shares have not been credited to your DP account. In case of shortage in payouts, the process is that the exchange buys the shares in auction or in case the shares are not available in auction too, gives a credit to us at the close out rate."

I'm sure that you bought a low volume stock.As per i know,they're trying to say that they can't credit 50 shares to ur demat account because they don't have them.So they'll try to buy them from exchange.Exchange will try to buy them from auction.If still exchange doesn't get shares from auction,they'll crdit the money of those 50 shares to you at the closing rate of that share on that particular day.:cool:

Short story is that you will benefit from this default by the seller.....you will get credit also for the penalty levied on the Seller....
