like, what type of trader u are, how long u are trading, with which broker u are trading etc

I am a System Analyst. I have 10 yrs of experience in application development.

My long time desire in Trading, convinced me to try my best in this field.

If it works out well, I will not go back to work and I make this my profession.

I thought the timing is perfect as I am coming back to India once for all by next month.

As I am not expert in this, I thought to Join with another Trader / group of traders and do Trade.

As I do not know anybody I expressed my Interest in this forum.

I am confident that I can do well in Trading. Wish me good luck.

This thread is exclusively for the following

i) Traders who are doing trading from their home in chennai.
ii) Traders who are having a small office setup in chennai and sharing the expenses with the fellow traders.

I am planning to develop a network for traders where they can share
i) their thoughts and opinions etc.
ii) their opinion, knowledge and their experience towards brokerage firms
iii) their growth and where they want to be after 5 yrs or 10 yrs period.

I need the full support of all the traders from chennai for the success my initiative.

Ppl are finding it difficult to organise traders meet in cities, leave alone meeting traders and join them in trading

Read somewhere that there was one traders meet at kolkatta, some yrs back...

Trading is highly individual, mind based business...even if someone trades successfully, there arises a question why wud he share at all with u?

There is enough material in this site reg brokerages. Try to read as many of them before signing for any of the broker.

I also wud suggest u to visit some of the brokerage firms in person during trading time, so that u can get to meet many offline traders. Most will look primitive but there are very good traders among them. Some may even stare at u when u talk abt Fibonacci...
