I have been contacted by Motilal Oswal to invest with them for their BTST services. They have shared with me their BTST calls and performance for the past 5 months and it does look very impressive. But as all of us know, these reports are always to be taken with a pinch of salt.
Anyways, my purpose of posting was to clearly understand if anyone here has utilized their BTST services and can shed some light on the same. They have asked me to transfer about 5-6L worth of my stocks from Sharekhan to their account and they would not touch it. But, they would rather use the stock margin for trading. I have been asked to pay 50K as advance brokerage that would allow me to get good brokerage rate. I am fine with that, as long as they don't mess around with my stock portfolio.
Can any one please share their views on the same. Also, how effective are BTST services offered by other brokers generally?
