No 'MARKET ORDER' option in new IIFL 3.0 software

Hi,

I have my online trading account with IIFL, and the people at India Infoline seem to have made a big blunder in the new version of their 3.0.0 software. There is no "MARKET ORDER" option in the buy or sell window. You can only place limit orders. As we all know a 'MARKET ORDER' is of paramount importance to enter or exit a trade instantly in a falling or rising market. It's surprising how they overlooked such an important feature while commissioning this software.

For now I would not be able to comfortably day trade or invest at all from Monday onwards till they resolve this problem!!!:mad:

I do not have account with IIFL.Whenever you place an order the Price
is filled automatically .This price is ALMOST equivalent to LTP and taken
as Market Price.You edit it,to place as LIMIT Price.The procedure is
almost the same adopted, by all.In any case it is always better to fill the
space ,rather than writing MKT or "0", because sometimes bad experience
may result.

Dheera,

I came to know IIFL released new version few days ago... Downloaded and installed...

Look is different... Chart was better in the older one...

I think still you can trade in the old version, if you don't like this version.

I still have the older one and able to open it (But I haven't tried placing order or traded...)

This has reference to your above observations. We have still not received any communication from you in this regard. We request you once again to provide us complete details (such as Login ID, DP ID) in connection with this issue on.
