DAy TRADING FUNDA @ 30K!!!!!!!!!!

#1
I came across a website: http://www.daytradingfunda.com/index.htm which claims to have a 100% accurate software . They seem to impart training on how to do day trading and provides personal training on trading methodologies and modalities.

Would like to know if any of u guyz have come across this site or have any feedback about this site...

Since the training appears to be a bit costly I would like to know the genuinity and result of the course before I get into it..

ANY IDEA ABOUT THIS??????????????

Thanks,

Jayaraj

http://www.daytradingfunda.com/disclaimer.htm

The Intraday trading system you will learn has been tested and tried over several years in actual conditions. Whereas, some days the result has been excellent and exactly as per the analysis provided by the software, there has also been numerous days and times, when market volatility has nullified analysis. It has to be understood that software doesn't control the market. It has its own dynamics. A perfect Buy signal can soon be negated by huge selling coming in unexpectedly or market behaving abnormally on external cues: NEWS OF EVENTS OR DEVELOPMENTS THAT AFFECT SENTIMENTS.
Read this carefully.

Remember, this guy called Lahiri is an MBA from IIM-Calcutta, experienced in the field of marketing and advertising. So but naturally he is going to position his snake-oil in the most favourable way. And he does succeed in doing so. At first, when I read his sales pitch, I was taken by surprise but his "disclaimer" proves he just another snake-oil seller, albeit with a marketing advantage over others.

Tomorrow if you were to start your own company you would do the same. There is nothing wrong is putting up a disclaimer thereby protecting the company from future law suits and financial damages. I do not know much about that website or company and really don't care much about it. But unless and until you try their product/s there is no point of thrashing it , some might actually find it useful and get discouraged to purchase/use it because they got influenced by what you had to say.

Cheers

Ofcourse there is nothing wrong in putting a disclaimer, but there is a definite place so as to where to put it. If you observe any ad about any offer, they clearly put a astriek next to their pitch and mention 'Conditions apply'. Its not so in this case. Practically and legally, their is no disclaimer about the sales pitch. Both can be viewed as independent pages on a website. This guy is good at marketing, but not much at legal.

Writing a sales pitch that purposefully fails to disclose any short comings about the product shows what the intention is. If one wants to be looked upon as genuine, then they must follow best-practices unlike scrupulous one like Sri Lahiri.

Such practices remind me of insurance policy salesman.

Out of curiosity I search for post of the starter of the thread. It returned only the first post of this thread. Search from his profile ..same ..only one result.. but the post count shows 12... strange ..

Any way the indirect promotion of the website has been nicely done... :thumb:

But where are the MODS ?????? :p
