How to - trade after 0500pm & trade on NASDAQ ???

#1
Hi,

Due to busy schedule I dont get enough time to trade during standard trading time in NSE or BSE. I found my self free after 0500pm. As per my knowledge one can trade after that. I would like to know how one can do that ??? also I am member of Sharekhan. does Sharekhan provide this facility ???

How one can trade on NASDAQ ? As a INDIAN residence can one do that ?

Thank you Traderji.com team for giving +ve feedback on my post, always. :thumb:

Happy Trading.

hi..
if trading late in the day is the issue u can trade in commodities which are traded worldwide.eg.gold,silver,nickel,zinc etc.these are traded in both mcx and ncdex and are open till 11.30 pm in the night.your broker sharekhan wd provide a platform for both the exchanges.
if u want to trade specifically in nasdaq, u can contact man financial or any such broker. they provide u with a trading platform which is java based and far supiriour to any that u have here.
for this u wd have 2 remitt money outside. last when I checked ( it may have changed now) u were allowed to remitt 50000 dollars in a single name per yr. but as per the govt. norms this money can be used for investments and not for speculation. which implies that u can buy and sell shares with this amount but not trade futures of any kind.
things may have changed now, u can check the current status with the concerned authorities.
hope this helps

Other option is ask your relative/brother in America to open
an account ,and ask him to provide the user id and
password ,if possible,so that you can trade in NASDAQ.

You can also trade Nasdaq futures if you wish too. Just ask them to open a cash account for you and thus you would nt be paying any margin for your trades. The only collateral in your account will be the exchange asked deposit. It is a little technical stuff to understand the difference between the Initial Margin and further/broker Margin.

in that case I will trade under their account. nice option Columbus. And as Ankit said one can trade on future also. sounds good.

ya. but if something wrong happened with that account, account owner would be in a big problem, not me. !!!! Now that is not good. I believe it's better to use our own account.

but thank you for your input. :thumb:
