breakout theory

Now a days i am playing niftyfuture using breakout theorey. I wait till 10.35am to note the day's high and low of niftyfuture till 9.55am to 10.35am. At 10.40am if niftyfuture crossess the 10.35am high i go long at the sametime i also note mininifty and spot nifty all are going new high i surely go long my 1st target is (upto 10.35am high-low/2+ 10.35am niftyfut high). If niftyfuture break low after 10.40am i go short the target is (10.35am high-low/2 -nifty fut low between 9.55 am to 10.35 am). . I was attened one simple tricks theorey class last year. they taught this theory. It is simply super. Your suggestion is welcome

Kindly post your trades for a few days for this ORB strategy and also the stop loss that you are following.

today niftyfut high, low from 9.55am to 10.35am is 4694low and 4737high .so if nifty cross 4737 1st target is 4737-4694=43/2 21point 4737+21=4758 reached at 12.43p.m I always put stoploss at today"s low. My 2nd target is high-low+niftyfut high at 10.35a.m ie 4737-4694=43points+4737=4780 achived 2.43p.m. can i update daily my nifty play

Use This Theory if you can
Buy Nifty at 4800 sl 4772 target 4835 & 4855
Sell Nifty at 4744 sl 4754 target 4725 & 4689

Very Interesting. What do you do when first tgt is reached. Do you sell a part or shift your stops to entry? Would love it if you update for as many days as you can. How many lots do you trade on this setup

mrnakar, murugan has mentioned a theory, you have only given a call. I am more interested in a theory than a call.

o.k. today my nifty fut trading applied breakout theary. from 9.55a.m to 10.35a.m niftyfut made high 4827 low 4790 diff 37points. so after 10.40am i put a order stoploss buy 4828 bought. my first target is 37/2=18point so i sell out 4844. again nifty made low below 4790 my stoploss sell triggered at 4789 but it cannot triger my low target 4790-17=4773. so i covered at4802. o.k today is no loss no gain. but this breakout theory is 75%workout. this theory also workout cashmarket. today see the sterlite movement 9.55a.m to 10.35a.m high low is 930,912 dif 930-912=18points so i bought above 930.5 ist target is 9points. i got it . it also reached 2nd target 930+18 points=948.so in cash market i gain a decent amount.

today at 9.55a.m to 10.35a.m nifty high 4814 low 4780.25 dif33.75points. so buy order triggered at 4815 first tg 4814+17=4831 acieved. profit 850rs. per lot

After buying at 4814 the NF went all the way to 4790 before recovering to 4831. Where would you have placed a stoploss? Because at 4790 you would have a loss of 24 points. Please clarify.
