Share Dividend

Hi All,
I having a doubt like,
consider i am having one TCS share and 450 INR when i bought. After some days TCS divided the share into two(Sorry i dono the exact term). Now i am having two shares right. What is the rae of the single share?

Yes. You will have two shares at half of the initial price.
Just divide the price of the stock by 2, which becomes 225 Rs.

The term you are looking for is "stock split".
