Hello all, how much min. % gains is good ?

I was reading thread "is earning 2000 daily enough..." , and i got a question,

how much min. % gains is good ?

min 1% - 2% ? even u have to pay brokerage, taxes etc. etc in that gains.

please give a idea.

Enough to be higher than inflation rate is good.

Enough to be higher than bond interest rates is better.

Enough to beat Sensex average is best.
