today i sold my 2 shares which i had brought some days back .. i was using hdfcsec .. but still my bank balance shown is old .. ??

was it related to some funds release /hold concept ?? do i need to click on fund release so that the money is tranferred to my bank account ??

I am not sure about HDFC securities. But funds are paid out by the exchange on T + 1 days. So your funds are likely to be credited only by end of Dec 26. (Since 25th is Christmas)
