First of all you have to learn how to trade. Then you paper trade for 3-6 months or may be an year too till you become confident. You will face many hurdles which you will overcome.

Importantly you need money; atleast 2 lacs to enter trading. F&O segment requires much higher capital. This capital should be maximum 30% of your savings. It will take some time to reach this stage unless you are born rich or your elders in the family are willing to give you the money. Till then be a medium term investor with even Rs 25000 in the cash segment making 30% to 60 % returns annually and reinvesting the same.

There are some threads here - " Teach a man how to fish....." a great treatise by a Doctor turned Trader who goes by name "Saint". He is our guru and one of the most respected persons here. What ever doubts you have feel free to ask. There are many seniors here who will come to help you.

Other forums are Scalpers forum by Trader111, Experiments in Technical Analysis and a few more.

I am really thankfull for your reply and valued suggestions.
As u said we need high amount to enter the markets.I have entered the market with only 2000rs/- and today i made it 26000rs/- i have done lots of homework prior to entering and i followed many of them saying dont trust on tips rumors etc. That helped me a lot. I just followed my own judgement and analysis by selecting 3 scrips after watching them for 10days. even though i occured few losses. I am learning a lot but i still need a helping hand in every step so that i can learn and implement and if i become like one of you(Youself,saint,traderji etc) later, i will help newbies.
Can you please guide me in what ways i can learn though onlinee or books etc.

from 2000/- to 26000/-amazing profits. Trade in cash segment Deliveries only. Read the threads in the forum. This is enough to give you sufficient knowledge. Though I am very much older than you I entere this space only 6 months back. Even now I do paper trading only; occasionally I day-trade too.
I plan to go back full time day trade on 1st November, 2008; till then paper trade only. You need a lot of discipline if you donot want to lose your capital. Start reading the threads from now on.

It is same as online trading. Only thing is there is no real money involved. First you must write your rules and follow them. No emotions. Read the threads till it is all clear. You have to learn yourself. No hand holding done here. Seniors will definitely dispel your doubts.

So i came to understand is paper trading is just like virtual trading where no realy money is putin. OK, i will follow the same thing and i will definetly let u know the result.
